In Super League A, Durb-Bell maintained their unbeaten run with a solid 44–26 away win over Tygerberg, keeping them firmly at the top of the table with 19 points. Villager also held onto second place after a convincing 52–33 win over UWC, with both teams scoring four tries or more. False Bay edged Van Der Stel 22–20 in a tight contest, which sees them stay in third place, tied on points with Villager but trailing on points difference. UCT continued their strong form with a 24–20 home win over Union Milnerton, climbing to fourth on the log. Hamiltons made a statement with a 38–10 away win over Brackenfell, moving up to fifth.
