This past weekend saw the top three teams in the Northern League close the door on their nearest contenders for the “Top 9” competition which will take place for the top three in the division leagues.

Our WP Club Rugby university teams are now fully back in action after their recent break from the league and this week we saw two mid-week games take place.
It’s been yet another year of accolades for the Western Province Rugby Football Union at the annual Cape Town Sport awards. The event held at UWC on Wednesday evening saw the WPRFU again win the Sport Federation of the year.
This week WP Club Rugby fans will see some big games, as a number of match-ups are very close on log points. The division leagues with slightly less teams and fixtures than the Super Leagues have crossed the half way mark in the season and are now playing for pride.
