League days away, clubs fine tune and Referees Golf Day

As the weekend approaches, we’re set for the final round of friendlies, a last chance for teams to fine-tune their tactics before the season kicks off in earnest next week.

Looking at the lineup for the weekend’s fixtures we see Fisantekraal is gearing up to face Peninsula at Phizantekraal High School, ready to test their mettle and make final adjustments. Belhar will welcome CPUT to their home turf at Erica Park, promising a competitive clash that will serve as a great prelude to the season ahead.

Scottsdene Central will play host to Morreesburg at Eikendal, while Silverleaf will be opening their gates to Northerns in what’s expected to be a captivating encounter between these two sides.

In the Helderberg Basin, we’ve got a derby that’s always a calendar highlight – All Saints versus Sir Lowrians at Helderzicht Sports Grounds. Expect the rivalry to be fierce and the action intense as local bragging rights are up for grabs. Additionally, the Macassar sports grounds will come alive as Macassar hosts the Gordons Bay Pioneers in another Helderberg basin derby.

Hamlets will travel to the Pniel Sports Grounds for their match, where the backdrop is as captivating as the rugby is sure to be. And in a match that’s bound to draw a crowd, Kuilsriver will host False Bay at Jagtershof Sports Ground, guaranteeing a day filled with entertainment and high spirits.
