Super League A saw a weekend of tight contests and significant shifts on the log. Union Milnerton edged out Brackenfell 31–29 in a nail-biting away win, scoring five tries to Brackenfell’s four. This result helped Union Milnerton climb to 8th on the log, overtaking Helderberg. Meanwhile, False Bay continued their strong form with a 35–29 away win over Durb-Bell, collecting a crucial bonus point for scoring five tries. Despite the loss, Durb-Bell remains top of the table, while False Bay solidifies second place. Van Der Stel narrowly beat Helderberg 20–19 in a low-scoring affair, which allowed them to hold onto 5th position. SK Walmers delivered the biggest statement of the weekend with a dominant 66–5 away win over St Georges, running in 10 tries. This emphatic victory pushed them into the top six, displacing UCT.
In Super League B, Bellville secured a valuable 40–27 away win over Collegians, with both teams scoring four tries. This result helped Bellville climb to 9th on the log, while Collegians dropped to 6th. Goodwood put on a commanding performance at home, defeating Kylemore 64–17 with 10 tries, keeping them firmly in third place. Macassar edged Hands and Heart 38–30 in a high-scoring encounter, helping them stay level on points with Collegians but trailing on points difference. Kraaifontein maintained their top spot with a 31–22 win over Hamediehs, scoring five tries. Delft edged Eersterivier 26–20 in a tight match, while Langa defeated Scottsdene 40–17 with six tries, boosting their mid-table standing. Gardens earned a crucial 30–23 away win over Young Peoples, a result that saw them leapfrog into second place and push Young Peoples down to third.
In the Paarl Region, Paarl Rangers delivered a dominant 40–0 win over Young Standards. With this result, Paarl Rangers remain in second place, level on points with Riverstones but ahead on points difference. Young Standards, still struggling, remain near the bottom of the log and will be eager to turn their season around.
The Promotion League saw Raithby maintain their perfect start with a 43–24 win over Fisantekraal, scoring seven tries. Watsonia also continued their unbeaten run with a 29–24 win over Sir Lowrians. Both teams now sit at the top of the log with 10 points each. Masiphumelele secured their first win of the campaign with a 21–0 result over Morning Star, moving them up the standings. Blue Stars’ 0–28 loss to Elsies River means they remain mid-table, while Elsies River now shares the top spot with Watsonia and Raithby.
In the Challenge Cup, Northerns delivered a powerful performance with a 60–35 away win over Young Stars, scoring 10 tries. This result puts Northerns at the top of the Challenge Cup standings. Silverleaf edged Whistling Wheels 23–19 in a close contest, while Titans narrowly beat Khayelitsha 19–17. All three winning teams now sit in the top four, with Northerns leading the way.
