Super League A produced the biggest movement at the top of the standings. Helderberg’s 45–34 victory over Hamiltons was one of the most entertaining matches of the weekend, with both sides scoring five tries and collecting bonus points. The win lifted Helderberg into fifth place on 26 points. Villager also made home advantage count, beating Brackenfell 38–30 after scoring six tries to secure maximum points and climb from sixth to third, while Brackenfell remain eighth.
The performance of the round came from UCT, who demolished Union Milnerton 62–7 away from home. Running in ten tries, UCT collected a full five-point haul and moved to the top of the table on 36 points, ahead of Stellenbosch. The latest round reshaped the top six, with Villager rising to third, Helderberg moving into fifth, Hamiltons slipping to fourth, Durbell dropping to sixth despite not playing, and Tygerberg falling out of the top six.
Super League B also saw NTK’s 32–29 home victory over Macassar was one of the most important results of the weekend. The hosts scored six tries to secure maximum points and jump into fourth place, while Macassar remained top after claiming two valuable bonus points.
CPUT strengthened their hold on third with a 22–20 win over Belhar, earning a try bonus in the process. Belhar’s losing bonus point keeps them in sixth, but pressure is mounting from the chasing pack. Kraaifontein moved into fifth after a 26–8 bonus-point win over Young Peoples, while Hands and Heart defeated St Georges 40–26 in a high-scoring encounter. Bellville and All Saints shared the points in an 18–18 draw, leaving All Saints second but allowing Macassar to maintain their advantage at the summit. NTK and Kraaifontein were the big winners on the log, climbing into the top six at the expense of Collegians and Hamlets.
Central League had one result on the board, and it was a convincing win for Sir Lowrians, who defeated Scottsdene 39–7. Five tries secured maximum points for the hosts and lifted them to eighth place on 16 points, tightening the race below the top six. Scottsdene remain at the bottom of the standings, while Manenberg Rangers continue to lead the competition ahead of Elsies River United and Silvertree.
