Super League A delivered one of the biggest shocks of the round when Franschhoek beat log leaders Stellenbosch 23–22 at home, hanging on despite Stellenbosch scoring four tries to Franschhoek’s two and still taking a losing bonus point. Durbell also strengthened their position with a 39–26 away win over UCT after scoring six tries, while Hamiltons were emphatic in a 53–19 home victory over Primrose, crossing eight times for a full bonus-point return.

In the updated standings, Stellenbosch remain first, UCT stay second despite defeat, Hamiltons are third, Villager fourth and Durbell fifth, while Tygerberg still hold sixth and Helderberg remain just outside the top six.
In Super League B, All Saints made another strong statement by beating Collegians 34–22 away from home, a result that keeps them firmly in the title conversation. Belhar were ruthless in a 58–24 home win over Violets, running in eight tries, while Bellville edged Hamlets 37–36 in one of the tightest contests of the weekend. Hamlets scored six tries in defeat, which at least kept them in touch through bonus points.

Over in Super League C, Rangers kept their unbeaten run intact with a 39–34 home win over Gardens in a high-scoring encounter where both teams scored five tries. That result keeps Rangers clear at the top. Eersterivier’s 22–15 home win over Kylemore tightened the contest directly behind the leaders, while Watsonia impressed in a 34–25 away victory over Scottsdene with five tries.

The updated standings still show Rangers first, Kylemore second and Eersterivier third on equal log points, with Pniel Villagers fourth despite not featuring in this result set, Watsonia fifth and Atlantis sixth. Gardens remain just outside the top six, making their narrow loss to Rangers especially costly.
The Central League continued to show strong form near the top, with Manenberg Rangers beating Elsies River United 30–24 at home in a match where both sides scored four tries. The result keeps the leaders in control. Young Stars were convincing 41–7 away winners over Young Ideas and collected a bonus point, while Silvertree were dominant in a 66–0 away victory over Bishop Lavis after scoring 10 tries.
Northerns also enjoyed a productive afternoon in a 63–29 home win over Suburban, and Silverleaf beat Thistles 43–0 with a seven-try return.
In the latest standings, Manenberg Rangers remain first, Elsies River United hold second and Young Stars are third on the same log points, with Silvertree only one point behind in fourth. Northerns stay fifth, and the battle for the final top-six places remains congested.
Northern League results reinforced the strength of the leading sides. Blue Stars United were far too strong at home in a 78–8 win over Cloetesville, scoring 12 tries, while Blakes had to dig much deeper for a 27–26 away win over Excelsior in one of the round’s tightest finishes.
Morning Star beat Police Blackheath 48–7 at home with seven tries, Faure won 43–15 away at Gordons Bay Pioneers, and Fisantekraal beat Whistling Wheels 38–21 at home.

The Paarl Region again produced plenty of points, with Young Gardens winning 57–38 away at Albions after outscoring their hosts by eight tries to six. The result keeps Young Gardens on top of the table. Paarl Rangers also collected an important away win by beating Perel United 36–33 in a five-tries-each contest, while Windmeul United’s 62–31 home success over Drakenstein was one of the biggest attacking performances of the round after they crossed nine times.
Riverstones’ 28–18 home win over Lower Paarl also had value for the chasing group.
On the updated log, Young Gardens remain first, Paarl Rangers second and Young Standards third, while Lower Paarl and Perel United stay in the top five. Albions occupy sixth, but the pressure from below remains real with Windmeul United and Violets Paarl still within striking distance.
Southern League form remains tight near the top. Masiphumelele and Retreat shared the points in a 23–23 draw, which keeps the top two closely matched, while Blue Jets held on for a 26–24 home win over Rocklands in a match where both teams scored four tries.
Young Wesleys produced one of the strongest away performances of the weekend by beating Imiqhayi 60–8 with 10 tries, Lagunya collected a five-try bonus in a 31–0 away win at Khayelitsha, and Titans caused an upset by beating Peninsula 33–30 at home despite Peninsula scoring four tries.

Busy Bees Women were also impressive in a 30–5 home victory over CPUT Women, while UWC Women beat Belhar Women 55–7 away after running in nine tries. Brackenfell Women added the biggest score in the division with a 73–0 away win over Up and Under Women.
In the early-season standings, Blue Jets Women, Busy Bees Women and UWC Women are all well placed, and the latest results have given them useful momentum.
Women’s League Division 2 had one completed result in the shared feed, with Collegians Women beating UCT Women 22–0 at home. The four-try return also secured a bonus point, while UCT Women will be looking to get on the board in the next round.
Across the latest round, the clearest trend was the value of bonus-point rugby. Teams that turned pressure into four or more tries gave themselves breathing room on the standings, while several narrow defeats still carried value because of losing bonus points. Coaches at the top will be pleased with the consistency shown by Rangers, Manenberg Rangers, Blue Stars United and Young Gardens, while teams hovering around the top-six line will know that one close win or one missed bonus point could quickly change the shape of their season.
