COURSE DESCRIPTION
Deliver aspects of coaching sessions under direction.

WHO IS IT FOR?
Coach of a group of players working under the guidance of a head coach, coaching coordinator.

ATTENDENCE OR ACCREDITATION
Attendance (LEVEL 1)

ON SUCCESFULL COMPLETION OF THE COURSE A COACH WILL BE ABLE TO:
• Identify playing positions, methods of scoring and attack and defense.
• Apply the principles of rugby to the play of a team.
• Identify skill faults.
• Plan a session.
• Deliver a session.
• Apply risk management and ethics
• Laws of the game

MINIMUM DURATION 8 HOURS

PREREQUISITE
• Over 18 years of age
• Coaches have to register themselves and complete online tests on the following

NB: FAILURE TO COMPLETE THE ABOVE ONLINE TESTS WILL RESULT IN YOU NOT BEING ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE FROM WORLD RUGBY, EVEN THROUGH YOU MAY HAVE ATTENDED THE COURSE.
