DESCRIPTION:World Rugby Level One Fifteens Coaching Course\n\nCourse Description\nThis course equips coaches with the skills to plan, deliver, and review structured coaching sessions.\n\nWho Is It For?\nThe course is designed for coaches working with a team or group of players, such as:\n\nYouth club coaches\nClub-level coaches\nSchool/teacher coaches\nRepresentative and talent development coaches\n\n\nAttendance or Accreditation\nThis is an accreditation-based course, with competency assessed through:\n\nPractical coaching tasks\nA formal transcript\nA live assessment visit\n\n\nUpon Successful Completion, Coaches Will Be Able To:\n\nDevelop and apply coaching values and philosophy\nIdentify and implement different coaching styles\nUnderstand technical and tactical coaching (principles of play)\nPlan and review practical training sessions\nDesign and deliver attack and defence sessions\nConduct practical coaching tasks (starts & restarts, scrums & lineouts)\nBuild a strong team culture\nCreate a personalised coaching development plan\n\n\nMinimum Duration\n\n30 hours of pre-course work\n5 modules of 3 hours each\n6-game coaching diary\nLive practical assessment following course attendance\n\n\nPrerequisites\nTo be eligible, participants must:\n\nBe actively coaching a team\nBe 18 years or older\nComplete all required online tests on World Rugby Passport ( https://passport.world.rugby/ )\n\n\nMandatory Online Modules (to be completed before the course):\n\nLaws of the Game\nConcussion for the General Public\nKeep Rugby Clean\nFunctional Roles Analysis\nSafeguarding Essentials\n\n
