The HUBS program held an outstanding fundraiser last Tuesday evening at the Cape Sun.
The DHL Stormers players served as waiters for a memorable dinner and auction, which raised a substantial amount for the Hubs program.

President of the Western Province Rugby Football Union, Mr Thelo Wakefield, addressed the guests and dignitaries, highlighting the importance of the Hubs program to the development of rugby in the Western Cape.

Well done to the organizing committee who worked tirelessly to boost the HUBS program which is doing such outstanding work at grass roots level.

In Women’s Rugby news, SARU hosted a Women’s Rugby conference in Johannesburg last weekend which identified the key areas of growth in the women’s game.

We are fortunate in Western Province to have an ever-growing talent pool of women’s rugby players. The challenge for every season is to ensure that the growth and popularity of Women’s Rugby remain on an upward curve.
