False Bay maintain unbeaten start after win in Kathu!

False Bay overcame tough playing conditions to down Sishen 35 - 25 in Kathu in the second round of Gold Cup action on Saturday.
The win sees Jono van der Walt's men lead Pool D on 10 points after securing back-to-back bonus point wins.

A hat-trick from flying winger Marcello Sampson as well as a try from flanker Jody Reyneke secure the hard-fought bonus point win for the Bay who also had tries by Dyllon Frylinck and Danie Roux disallowed.

"It was a tough, physical game in Kathu," van der Walt told CRTV. "We're happy to come away with the five points."

False Bay returned to Cape Town on a high and can go into their bye weekend full of confidence ahead of their clash against Western Suburbs on Saturday 30th September at the Phillip Herbstein.
