At the 27th annual General Council meeting of the Western Province Rugby Football Union (WPRFU) held at DHL Newlands on Monday, November 26, the General Council voted Zelt Marais in as the new WPRFU President.

This past Monday saw the continuation of the club rugby special project, which sees Coach Jerome Paarwater bringing club rugby players to the next level.

This past Saturday saw the top sixteen from the pool stages play in the knockouts after forty four teams and some nine hundred players had taken to the field over the past four weeks.

The Score WP Club Rugby Sevens tournament goes into its final day this Saturday with sixteen teams now having played through the Pool stages.
